Hand-Lettered Quote #2 + Print Giveaway!

I’ve always loved the exuberance of this quote about spring…

8″ x 12″, drawn with Pitt Artist’s pens on Stillman and Birn Beta series paper

I’ll change it out for a different quote on my living room wall when autumn rolls around, but while we have an abundance of green things growing, I’m celebrating them!

Right after I finished this artwork, I was commissioned to do an illustrated hand-lettered Bible verse. Since I was given a very tight deadline, I decided to simply modify the border design I had just used for my springtime quote. This time the flowers were customized to include daisies (a favorite of the recipient of the piece) and watercolor was added.

If you have a favorite quote about spring (or anything else), why not share it with my readers in a comment? I’d love to find some new favorites, and you just might win a free print!
