Hand-Lettered Quote #1 + Print Giveaway!

I’m finally back from Maine, and while I’m finishing up the sketches I did there I thought I’d show you a project I completed recently……..

I’ve always loved quotes. I have a shelf filled with quote books, a sketchbook devoted to favorite quotes, manila folders filled with quotes cut from magazines, and various quote files saved on my computer. But you can never have enough quotes, right? So, when I redecorated my living room not too long ago, I decided to do an arrangement of framed quotes over the sofa. Now I get to enjoy their pithy wisdom every day.

My living room color scheme is black, gray, white, and gold, so I limited the colors on the quotes to black and white. Here’s the first of the six that now hang over my couch…

If you have a favorite quote, why not share it with my readers in a comment? I’d love to find some new favorites, and you just might win a free print!
