  • Hello Leslie, I love these sketches from your trip to Italy, I read about you preparing for this trip & deciding what you were going to take. They are all lovely and I notice a change to the style of painting you are bringing into your sketches not so detailed which I love. Please enter my name I'd love to be the proud winner of one of your sketches.

  • I admire your work! I am just starting in watwrcolor so have much room for improvement but get so much inspiration from artists like yourself. I have to say the canal scene is absolutely phenomenal. That's the one I choose should I be fortunate enough to win. Thanks for this opportunity.

  • I deeply regret not painting and sketching more the one time I travelled through Italy as a college student. I never thought it would be over 20 years before I could return! Your paintings and sketches are a lovely reminder of my time there!

  • Gini February 21 2014 @ 5:00 p.m.
Leslie, I have spent a couple hours explaining the wonderful workshop which I
attended at McMurray Art League yesterday with Leslie Fehling teaching a class
on the wonderful world of journaling and her journal on Italy was awesome. I phoned
two friends and another who sets up workshops for another art league hoping they
will enjoy the same creative experience shared yesterday by our workshop.

    • I really enjoyed having you in class yesterday, Gini. And thanks so much for passing along the info about the class to your friends. I hope we can work something out for a workshop with that group. Keep on sketching – you made a great start yesterday!
