Recent news ...
  • February 24, 2012 - Our local newspaper, the Greene County Messenger, featured an article about my interest in sketching and my recently published book.
  • February 2012 - I participated in a watercolor class taught by master artist Frank Webb. The class was sponsored by the McMurray Art League, and it was a lot of fun being with other artists and seeing their individual styles as we painted each day. Frank Webb's demonstratations showed, step-by-step, how he designs and paints to achieve award-winning results.  
  •  January 2012 - I've joined the McMurray Art League! Looking forward to hearing some interesting speakers, taking classes, and meeting fellow artists.

May 2011 - My watercolor painting of a spring morning at Mother Earth Farm, entitled "May Morning," was exhibited at the "Fresh and Greene" art show at Waynesburg University, Waynesburg, PA. To see how I painted it, step-by-step, click here.


WCTV appearance
"The Greene Room" is a television show that features interviews with local artists, along with demonstrations and/or performances. In October 2011, I had an opportunity to share my sketchbooks on the show and talk about my art. Read about it in this post or watch the video here:



Publications
Published in July 2011, What Would You Do? A Kid's Guide to Staying Safe in a World of Strangers marked my debut as a children's book illustrator. Read about the book and see the illustrations here.
